Kardon A. Stolzman
Kardon A. Stolzman is an Associate attorney in the firm’s Asbestos Department. A devoted advocate for workers and injured people, he has dedicated his legal career representing those with asbestos related illnesses including mesothelioma and lung cancer. Mr. Stolzman has worked on a wide variety of asbestos cases including exposures from ships, oil fields and refineries, airplanes, railroads, boilers, construction, electrical work, automotive repair, industrial facilities, powerhouses, steel mills and many more. He has a keen understanding of both the legal issues that involve asbestos litigation and the personal hardships that his clients and their families have suffered.
Before practicing law Mr. Stolzman had an active career in politics and citizen advocacy. He led CURE-NY, Consumers United for Reform and Education, a coalition of community, patient and consumer groups working to reduce the incidence of deaths and injury arising from medical error and to protect the rights of medical negligence victims. While with the New York City Council, he helped pass the nationally recognized “Childhood Lead Paint Poisoning Prevention Act.” Mr. Stolzman also works on lead paint poisoning, medical malpractice, personal injury and whistleblower cases.
